Burst my bubble!

I used to like to think that I wasn’t a geeky scientist, but my bubble burst yesterday when I destroyed my first shirt via an uncapped red pen – maybe I really do need that pocket protector!

    Ha!!

You are delusional! Working at CERN and you are NOT a geeky scientist! :-)

I just wanted to say I read all the time– mostly FOR the geeky stuff, and for clarifications on any CERN misgivings– but I love the little bits of humanity you (and the other authors) throw in. Thanks so much for keeping this blog up. I’m a huge fan. :-)

The trick is in not wearing shirts you care about saving. Buying cheap shirts will save you some money. Then, who needs a pocket protector? And when you do have a pen ink incident, it’s a great conversation starter. I would think this would be especially so with red ink! ;)
