I am a Fermilab postdoc working on the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. My research focuses on tests of QCD and searches for new physics based on jets. I also help with the calibration of the hadronic calorimeter. I live in France with my wife and our two daughters, aged three-and-a-half and two. We are finding it easy to make the most of our stay in this part of Europe because we are big fans of mountains, cheese, castles, chocolate, cows, and wine.
