I am a research scientist at Indiana University, and am currently working on ATLAS. I have had a varied research experience in high-energy physics, having worked on an experiment at Fermilab that shot a high-energy neutrino beam into a very large bubble chamber filled with a mixture of liquid hydrogen and neon; experiments at the electron-positron collider at Cornell (CLEO) and at SLAC (BaBar); a kaon experiment at Brookhaven National Lab to search for an extremely rare decay of the K+ meson (about 1 in 10,000,000,000 kaons decay into this channel), and the DØ experiment at the proton-anti-proton collider at Fermilab. In my free time, I sometimes write the local news for the "volunteer-powered" radio station in Bloomington.
