Regina Caputo

I am a graduate student from SUNY Stony Brook working on the ATLAS experiment at CERN. I've been living just outside of CERN in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, France for the past nine months. I spend my days working on the Liquid Argon (LAr) Calorimeter, and one day I hope to start searching for physics beyond the standard model.

When I'm not working, I enjoy tennis, biking, hiking, skiing, traveling, eating cheese, drinking wine, and keeping up with the tabloids and TV shows in the U.S. I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and attended the Colorado School of Mines for my undergraduate studies, graduating with a B.S. in Engineering Physics. My favorite color is green.
